GENERAL
Your entry into the “Ultimate Ski Trip” (the “Contest”) is subject to the General Contest Rules, the following Legal Terms and Conditions, and all other guidelines, terms and conditions stated elsewhere on this site and all applicable laws, ordinances and regulations, including but not limited to all laws respecting intellectual property, trademarks, copyrights, rights of privacy, pornography and defamation. The act of entering the Contest constitutes your agreement with and acceptance of the Contest Rules and the decisions of the Sponsors (as defined below) which decisions shall be final and binding upon all Entrants (defined below).
SPONSORS
The contest is organized by Access Marketing, on behalf of Banff Lake Louise Tourism Bureau (hereinafter, the “Sponsors”). Banff Lake Louise Tourism Bureau (“BLLT”) shall be the administrator of the Contest.
ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to legal residents of Ontario. Individuals entering the Contest may also be individually and collectively referred to herein as “Entrant” or “Entrants”. All Entrants must have reached the age of majority in the province of Ontario. Excluded from the Contest are employees of any of the Sponsors, their representatives and agents, employees of the Sponsors’ respective corporate affiliates or advertising or promotional agencies, members of the immediate family of said persons or someone residing with said persons.
Participation in the Contest constitutes Entrants’ full and unconditional agreement to abide by these Contest Rules and Regulations and the Sponsors’ decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest.
No purchase is necessary to enter the Contest or to win a prize.
The contest is void where prohibited by law, or where the registration or filing requirements of any province or local jurisdiction or if any of the terms and conditions have not been complied with.
WINNER SELECTED BY BANFF LAKE LOUISE TOURISM
The winner is selected at random. The odds of being selected will depend on the number of eligible Entrants entries.
In the event of any disagreement as to whether a person is an Entrant, a potential winner or a winner, or as to the qualification of any Entrant, potential winner or winner to, or the adequacy of any prize or any substitute prize, the decision of the Sponsors will be final.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Personal Information collected from Entrants by the Sponsors will be used by the Sponsors or its affiliates to administer the Contest. Neither the Sponsors nor its affiliates will share personal information relating to Entrants with any third parties, except as necessary for the administration of the Contest or as may be required by law.
By entering this contest, you accept to receive email communication from Banff Lake Louise Tourism and Ski Banff Lake Louise Sunshine.
The Sponsors will not attempt to contact the Entrant for any other purpose than to administer the Contest or as may be required by law unless they have opted-in to receive relevant communications from BLLT and Ski Banff Lake Louise Sunshine. The Sponsors respect the privacy of everyone who enters the Contest.

ENTERING THE CONTEST
To enter the Contest, an Entrant must do the following:
- i) Visit SculptedinBanff.ca
- ii) Enter your name and email
- iii) Answer three survey questions
- iv) And confirm email address (for purposes of contacting the winner).
The entrant may enter one (1) time each day.
DEADLINE
The “Ultimate Ski Trip” begins at 12:00am Thursday, October 2nd, 2014 and ends at 9:30PM on October 27th 2014 Entries must be received by the Sponsors no later than 9:29PM on October 27th, 2014.
WINNER NOTIFICATION
a) Ultimate Ski Trip Winner
One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected by random drawing from the entries. The draw will be held on Tuesday October 28th date at: Suite 375 Cascade Plaza, 317 Banff Ave, Banff, Alberta, Canada.
The odds of being selected will depend on the number of eligible Entrants entries.
The selected Entrant will be contacted by e-mail by a representative of the Sponsors no later than October 30th, 2014 at 5:00PM EST and must respond within forty-eight (48) hours.
If the selected Entrant cannot be contacted within this time period or fails to respond to any attempted contact within forty-eight (48) hours, he/she will be disqualified, his/her entry will be declared null and void and the Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole and absolute discretion, to select an alternate winner by drawing another name at random from the list of Entries.
In order to be declared a winner and receive his/her prize, the selected Entrant must correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, a time limited mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by telephone and sign and return to the Sponsors within the required delay a declaration of eligibility and release form.
The official announcement of the Grand Prize winner will be announced on Banff Lake Louise Tourism’s Facebook Page no later than October 30th, 2014 at 5:00PM EST.(barring any unforeseen delays contacting the winner).
PRIZES
The winner will receive no compensation, credit or prizing other than as disclosed in these Rules or otherwise provided at the sole discretion of the Sponsors. The prize is not transferable; no prize substitutions or equivalents are permitted, except by the Sponsors at their sole discretion. In all cases, the Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value for any of the Contest Prizes.
The odds of winning the prize depends on the number of eligible entries received.
The prize winner and guest(s) must follow all directions of the Sponsors and/or event organizers. Failure to do so may result in termination of their participation, or continued participation, in the applicable prize.
The prize is subject to availability and is not redeemable for cash.
One (1) grand prize (“Grand Prize”) winner will be selected in this Contest as described in Section 5 above (referred to herein as the “Winner”).
The Grand Prize consists of:
- Two Ski Banff Lake Louise Sunshine 2014/2015 ski passes
- 5 night split stay at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel.
- All taxes and gratuities for hotel accommodations
The following conditions apply to the Grand Prize:
All other costs will be at the expense of the Winners and his/her guest. These may include, but are not limited to; airfare, hotel extras (minibar, spa, room service, etc.), gratuities, meals, local transportation.
The approximate total value of the Grand Prize is $6,800. Actual retail value of the Grand Prize will depend on the fares at time of departure and the value of the hotel room during the period of stay. If the actual value of the trip turns out to be less than the stated approximate retail value, the difference will not be awarded in cash. All prizes (including all Daily Prizes) are not assignable or transferable and are not redeemable for cash. Hotel Travel is valid until May 1st 2015, excluding November 28th-30th 2014, and December 22nd 2014-January 3rd 2015, and holiday weekends.
TERMS
Prior to receiving the Grand Prize, the selected Entrant will be required to show valid photo ID and to sign a declaration of eligibility and release form (“Release”) (i) releasing the Sponsors and their advertising and promotional agencies, Facebook, the Official Contest Bloggers, their respective affiliates and their respective directors, officers, owners, partners, employees, agents, dealers, representatives, and successors (collectively “Sponsors and Contest Related Parties”) from any and all liability in connection with the Contest and/or the Grand Prize (including the related travel and dinning), (ii) confirming compliance with the Contest Rules, and (iii) consenting to the use of Winner’s name, image, likeness, voice and biography, without further compensation, in any advertising, promotion or publicity (whether or not relating to this Contest) anywhere in the world carried out by the Sponsors and/or their advertising and promotional agencies. The signed Release must be received by Sponsors within five (5) business days of notification of selection or the Grand Prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate Entrant.
By participating in the contest, you agree to release and hold harmless BLLT, their promotional partners and employees, officers, affiliates, agents, and advertising and promotional agencies from any and all damages, injuries, illnesses, claims, causes of actions, or losses of any kind resulting from your participation in this contest. BLLT, their promotional partners and employees, officers, affiliates, agents, and advertising and promotional agencies assume no responsibility or liability for any damages, injuries, illnesses, claims, causes of actions, or losses of any kind arising in whole or in part from this contest.
CHANGES AND TERMINATION
These Contest rules are subject to all applicable Canadian federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations, and govern all aspects of the Contest. Contest rules are subject to change without notice if necessary to comply with any applicable law.
The Sponsors may, in their sole discretion, prohibit any Entrant from entering the Contest whom it believes to be abusing the Contest Rules. Winners must at all times behave appropriately when taking part in the Grand Prize or any other Grand Prize-related events and observe these Contest Rules and any other rules or regulations in force at any Contest-related locations. The Sponsors reserve the right to remove from the Grand Prize-related events or locations any Winner and Winner’s guest who breaks such rules and/or fails to behave appropriately and to disqualify such Winner.
In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of these Contest Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest-related materials, including but not limited to the Contest entry form, or point of sale, television, print or online advertising, the terms and conditions of the Contest Rules shall prevail, govern and control.
